Don't just throw the word "chemistry" around carelessly.
In fact, there were cases of casting where the cast lacked chemistry. And if you analyze it carefully, the reason it happened was they banked on their faces and popularity.
They sacrificed chemistry over austhestic vibes.
or to put it another way, see if their acting and expressions complements each other and creates a harmony.
If they don't, they're rejected or given a different role.
Directors don't look at a photo and say, "They don't have chemistry."
- Still photos = vibe
- Interaction = chemistry
Yes, sure, meanings and usage of words "evolve" but it's not an evolution. The word "chemistry" sends a message about interaction. You know, the elements. The atoms. Chemicals. Combining them = interaction.
That's why directors conduct auditions because they want see chemistry,
Whenever I read negative "chemistry" comments based on still photos, I always wonder if they actually understand what "chemistry" is. 😆
You can't know if actors have on-screen chemistry just by seeing a still photo, that's vibe not chemistry. 😉

I like the 30-hour system because it's very logical and actually works psychologicaly.

In Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, for schedules that goes through 06:00 next day, they use the 30-hour system.
Most people tend to sleep when they see 03:00 or 05:00. But if it's 27:00 or 29:00, we think of it as "tonight", so they'll stay awake.
I don't know if this is still true today.
In Japan, 12:00 am is legally 12:00 nn while 12:00 pm is legally 12:00 mn. 😆
Because of the confusion when interacting with the rest of the world, common folks use 0:00 pm for 12:00 nn and 0:00 am for 12:00 mn.

There are no other choices, so if I'll choose, it's Akbayan first then PDSP, at least currently.
There are other partylists and politicians who are DemSoc or SocDem but they're doing a bad job in convincing me they're genuine and won't suddenly shift once they get elected.
The problem with Philippine Politics is that politicians, political parties, and partylists, are always shifting

- Akbayan is DemSoc but aligns with people & parties I don't like
- PDSP is DemSoc but their goal is ???!
You can't call yourself a DemSoc in the Philippines because you'll be red-tagged by the Capitalist government.
The safest option is SocDem.
That's how the PDSP and Akbayan survives in Capitalist country. They're DemSoc but officially calls themselves as SocDem. 🫡
What does that even mean? We already have many bypass roads, for example.
Why not build more train routes? Give them access to trains. Trains are not just for passengers, it can be used to transport goods. No traffic. Less cost for farmers. Less time-consuming.

Okay, so my type of mindset is actually DemSoc and not SocDem. And the closest to DemSoc we can get in a Capitalist country like the Philippines are Workers Cooperatives.
I'm shifting my job search. They align with what I consider are important, like balance, experience, and know-how.
But:
1. That's what the director told him
2. That's how he interpreted the character
3. The director and writer approved it
So, why blame the actor? Blame the writer for creating a character like that. Blame the director for wanting it that way.
Or, better yet, produce your own show.
They announced late. 🤦🏽 They should make the announcement days before D-Day!
