In a recent interview to promote the kdrama #PerfectCrown, #ByeonWooSeok said viewers can look forward to the ending of episode 4 (one of his favourites). He also hopes people will enjoy the ending the kdrama as a whole as it shows Grand Prince Yi An’s full circle narrative.

I just realised the Queen Mother scolds her son because she can see her husband in him, but Yi An loves his nephew because he sees his brother in him.
The day the former King passed away, the nation lost a leader but Yi An lost his only family and person who understood.

I agree, and I’m sure (putting feelings aside) this is something he has considered. It could backfire, however, if Huiju kills it so much she becomes “the People’s Princess”. It would mean even more approval and spotlight for the royal couple, overshadowing the King.
