Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)
Crab apple (Malus syvestris)
Dog Rose (Rosa canina)
Hazel (Corylus avellana)
They were kindly donated and the trees will form a hedge.

Merton Council have informed us that on Friday 17 October two trees, an alder and a tree of heaven, will be felled. The trees are in the children's play area. One is dead and the other is infected with a fungus. The trees cannot be safely retained.

From Merton Council: 11 October we will remove 8 Lombardy poplar and 1 Whitebeam defective/dead trees rear of the running track, following failure of 1 Poplar. More works are required, including removals across the whole site.

“It's sad that a large old ash tree by the cafe has a fungal infection and there's a significant risk of falling limbs. To keep the public safe, unfortunately the tree will be removed.
[This] underlines the importance of planting more trees.”
