The last to open in this collection is shocking pink, lily-flowering tulip Mariette, so chic as her petals unfurl. Tall and elegant, she & Blushing Lady (pale yellow & soft pink) are definitely super-model tulips!

Coincidentally mine is at the bottom of my garden! Quite old now but still growing very well, reasonably healthy, doesn’t defoliate. I too favour single, double and loosely petalled roses. Are you familiar with ‘Mrs Oakley Fisher’?

Now appearing! The first #rose blooms of the season on Sweet Pretty and Cornelia. Have also spotted a few coloured buds nestled amongst the foliage on Felicia and Mutabilis.
