Reverberations Vol. 3
Soul by soul, tree by tree, the mainland of Japan became a forest, adrift in scattering pink petals in a constant flux of vibrant bloom and bitter withering.
-Inspired by: Senbonzakura, by Hatsune Miku (but sung by Kato Kazuki)
(From a manga within the book.)
Heheh. It's hard to hold my tongue, but I An and I will. ;)
WAY cooler.
Eureka! I've done it! I've cracked the code! I've just landed on the one breakout draconic concept nobody has ever done before and it is... It's brilliant. Exciting. Subversive. Political. Even educational! I cannot wait.

The Songbird Sovereign:
I finally shed my working name for Sono's twin (Jinshi :p) and landed on Jinya (音也), which is beyond perfect! And now, the 2nd movement is MOVING! Kodama, kappa, tengu, crafts, flora... Jinya's part of the world is coming alive!

#HotT on passage of time:
“The Sun Circle keep records of the days, and some of my House maintain charts, but there’s little need for it among the people. I’ve no use for counting cycles, myself.”
“You wouldn’t. Why bother, when your face barely changes once a decade or more?”

Er, book.
Ah, but if you read the books, the movie scene was DEVASTATING.

In Under the Dragon Moon by @mawcehanlin.bsky.social, the MC Mael has sensory issues related to being autistic that include "Acute Arcane Synesthesia," which means he senses magic and it can overwhelm him. This makes the story's magic more immersive.
Disappointed that Drag Race went the Karen route. The whole Karen "trend" is just a new version of mysogeny. Men use the exact same tactics all the time and get what they want. But when a woman does the same thing, it becomes a witch hunt. I'm not "for" Karens. I'm against the gendered stereotype.
Does he also find every bruise and tender bundle of nerves to lean his entire weight on under the exact right paw?
Also, that mug setup is brilliant.

I totally thought he was going to do what Kirin does and just take forever to park his butt. But he never intended to sit, it seems. 🤣

“I don’t know what I’m doing,” he groaned, sliding a hand between Ra’tha’s thighs to feel out all that was on offer.
“You’re doing it pretty well, then.” Ra’tha gave a throaty chuckle, wriggling against groping fingers.

Light as breath and quick as a passing idea, sylphs are said to dance along the edges of storms and ride the hush before a breeze turns wild.

No quote today, but fun fact:
Lily is my grandmother's name and the inspiration for the name Lilein.
(Is it an extant name? Beats me. But as far as I know, I made it up.)

Awww, my nan's name.
No need to justify it to me or anyone. I'm just offering up framework for how to decide on what you're unsure about.
But yeah, if it's horror, you might be able to get away with an ending people "don't like."
Game of Thrones gets away with it because the horror IS the point. That's what makes people turn the page.
It's entirely up to you to decide. But you should consider genre, style, and whether it's more important that people continue to read or that the story plays out in its present form.
I get the difficulty. But it is worth questioning. If it puts readers off, you might need to find a compromise or pivot if you are invested in sales over art. That's the sticking point, I guess.
