I knew municipal utilities generally provide lower electricity prices than investor-owned monopoly utilities, but I had no idea the difference was *this stark* in California. No wonder CA electeds are pushing to make municipalization easier and cheaper.

The Constitution gave Congress war authority. Absent congressional action, no war. not, war until Congress says stop.

A big part of the authoritarian playbook is war. War takes over the news. War blots out criticism. War divides a nation’s people, subjecting those against it to being called unpatriotic. War grants leaders all sorts of emergency powers. War consumes everything else.

We mustn’t let this war do so.

While it is tempting to acquiesce when Trump illegally attacks a regime like Iran, allowing him to start wars anywhere is reckless & dangerous. What will stop him from invading Canada or Greenland next?

Ds & Rs in Congress must deny Trump the authority for war until he presents a case for it.

Here’s what I don’t understand. The illegal Trump tariffs were largely, ultimately paid by consumers. Importers added the fee which producers likely applied indirectly or directly to consumers.
So consumers should be suing to recover the tariffs not companies. Class action?

And the companies will seek refunds but they won’t refund those to customers who actually pad the tariffs. So they get a double bonus if high prices and the excess back.
