The first thing my step father told my mother when he met her and learned she had a 4 year old. He told her

I grew up reading to escape my surroundings. Reading and writing has saved me so many times in my life
I use to be the girl that dreamed about her wedding day.
Our wedding got ruined by covid.
Most of the people I would have invited are not even in our lives anymore.
These pictures were taken on a completely separate day from when we actually got married. Like weeks later.
