Lots of behaviour in common. Need to control your life. Feeling anxious in social situations and many more. The point is that if you have #PTSD or #CPTSD then you might think you are #autistic and seek treatment which isn't right for you. Or be misdiagnosed in either direction.
Ok so I don't know who needs to hear this but you do. I'm not #autistic. I believed I was. My psychologist accepted that as my way of viewing the world but eventually said "no, you have #CPTSD. And I have never ever met any patient who had CPTSD who didn't think they were autistic."

Three stages of complex trauma recovery I've noticed in myself:
1. Support that sees your good parts while you can't.
2. You start seeing them too, with the help of support.
3. You see them on your own, without the help of support.
It takes time to build that self-compassion.
