Thanks for telling me! I've fixed that now. :)

If I liked your #PosterPit pitch, please DM me for a link as my Query Manager inbox is currently closed.
I love MG so I hope you do once I open to it. :) Not sure when that’ll be yet
Alright querying writers, I am at 250 queries. I said I’d give a half hour heads up, so I’ll be closing my inbox at 7:10 EST tonight. I will be open again once I sort through these queries.
I am at 189 now. I anticipate that I’ll be closing in a few hours. When I hit 250, I’ll give a 30 minute warning in case anyone is actively filling out the form at that time.
Surprise: I am open to queries (YA, NA, Adult only for this round). I will remain open until my inbox hits 250 queries. I have no idea how long that’ll take, but I will update here when it is closed.
Authors who have fulls with me: I am currently working to get a client out on submission. I plan to start reading fulls once we have finished this round of revisions. I hope to get back to everyone within the next six weeks. If it is in my queue, note that I haven't read yet.
:)
Once I open, yes!
Finally, the aim of this thread is to let you know I’ll be making any future announcements for querying writers on here. I’ll also try and let authors know where I am in my work flow so you can understand why you’re waiting on a response from me. :)
I intend to take on a handful of clients this year. I am very editorially focused and work closely with my authors, so I’m a quality over quantity type. If you want to learn more about me, visit my website: katieferriello.com
All this to say, stay tuned here to learn when I am open to your pitches/queries.
Right now, I’m focused on getting clients on submission. Then I will pick up reading fulls I currently have (April). And after that, I will begin pitch me here pitches and/or open my query manager inbox.
I’m choosing this format because it’s easier on all. It allows me to request based on concepts that intrigue me and saves writers time on crafting a query.
At some point, my query manager inbox will be open, but likely only for a few days at a time so that it is manageable for me to sift through.
As for genres I represent:
I’m building a list of adult and new adult romance/fantasy authors as well as ya and mg. I’ll also take on select picture book authors. Those are my starter genres. I will expand in the future.
When I open, I plan to do a pitch me party here, rather than open my inbox.
It’s time I introduce myself to the #writingcommunity:
Hi! I’m Katie Ferriello- a new literary agent with Mansion Street Literary Management.
My inbox is currently closed, but if you follow me I’ll let you know when I’m open. I plan to also host pitch me parties on BlueSky in the future.
Congratulations! I queried through the link on the agency website, but as an fyi, you’re not pulling up on query tracker for anyone who searches your name or agency. That may be intentional, but if not, I wanted to make sure you’re aware. :)
Thank you! Querying it now 🤞🤞🤞
That is the worst!

Oh! I just noticed your name and have seen you on query tracker. I’m interning as a literary agent now and would love to pick your brain on how you broke into the industry. Multiple internships?
Also wow to writing and agenting. Good for you!

Thanks Dani!
