From June 23 to June 29, 2025, Freie Universität Berlin will be cutting out the letter e from its communication.
Why? Because the university itself is facing cuts: around 37 million euros this year alone. Additional cuts are also planned for 2026 and 2027. (1/3)

i’ve also finally brought over the iSponsorBlockTV service from my old raspberry pi! unfortunately, the version that’s in nixpkgs seems broken, so i added it as a container. i hope the PR to add a service definition (github.com/NixOS/nixpkg...) gets another look at some point

the NixOS 24.11 upgrade went very smoothly for both the VPS and home server and only required minimal adjustments to the samba config – it’s been rock-solid as a server OS for me
