Making progress on my demo project for a #blender to #godot workflow. The workflow takes my existing ARPG pipeline, and pulls in a lot of the ideas from Blender Studio's DOGWALK. The end result will be open sourced, including demo godot project, .blend files, and Blender and Godot plugins.
GodSVG alpha 14 is out! This prerelease lays down the groundwork for keyboard focus navigation and adds a few quality of life features and bugfixes. 🍇

I only learned recently that downloading the Godot editor compiled with changes from specific PRs is extremely easy!
Go to the PR, then to the Checks tab, and download the editor for your platform from the Artifacts dropdown!

New one-click setup buttons working in action, making it easier to discover and actually start using the #godot Road Generator #addon with Terrain3D. The setting panel is procedural, so in theory we can add other connectors/you can define your own (missing plugin hooks to do so for now though)

I made custom #Godot coasters
A cloud rendered using jackknife transmittance estimation and the formula used to do so.
Ray marching is a common approach to GPU-accelerated volume rendering, but gives biased transmittance estimates. My new #SIGGRAPHAsia paper (+code) proposes an amazingly simple formula to eliminate this bias almost completely without using more samples.

In our next Tiny Glade update we'll bump the light limit from 32 to 32k while keeping the cost more or less the same.
The small limit has been a cop out, as we didn't quite know how to render huge numbers of (screen-space) shadow-casting lights without severe performance degradation.
