Does the prepared spell "stay" on the creature when swapping text boxes? Or does this only work once after the creature is already prepared, then you have the harder to achieve prepare condition again?

Thinking of doing that with my Vivi/ Stella Lee deck...
Muddle says non-legendary however, but there are still a bunch of cool value pieces you could copy like Stormkiln Artist or Guttersnipe.
Released some magic fx for godot. Projectiles and areas.
I wish to update this pack with different kinds of elemental magic in the future too so suggestions are welcome!

Nice, you can finally create typed dictionaries in GDScript?
Does it support types other than Variant for the value yet?
TIL that you can reference class names in gdsript within comments quite easily without using external plugins.
Make sure whatever .gd script you want to link to has a class_name. Then put that class within []. Then you can ctl+click to directly access.
Yay for code documentation!
“The oxpecker and the elephant” - one of the tales you can find in “a star called the sun”, coming out this week from myself and @imagecomics.com
All made at least partially with Adobe Animate, the program that adobe doesn't think deserves to exist anymore
Shout out to all the amazing Black game developers, media, and creatives across every part of making games. I’m rooting for y’all year-round.
Go follow Black folks making games. We’re often ignored, then imitated. Tag some Black devs below and follow the ones you don’t know yet.
Hey yall. As you've seen here - unfortunately a large portion of the ivy road team was laid off today, myself included. We're all looking for work! Gonna do a quick thread about those who were laid off today and why you should hire them:

I'm here for the year of game devs on the Linux desktop.
We've been preparing the ground for you folks for the past 30 years (well only 20 for myself).
It's pretty comfy by now 🐧
(yes, it still has shortcomings, and yes, alternatives do too)
My Cozy Cube Godot addons are now officially updated to Godot 4.6! If you aren't updating, you can still get 4.5 on a separate, frozen branch.

Did you know that you can use the Steam Rich Presence API in your #godot game? And it's not even hard!
Check out another amazing @godotsteam.com tutorial: thegodotbarn.com/contribution...
Perfect for your #indie game!
I always love how much work goes into the #GodotEngine release post. There's a lot of love and charm, and it's a ton of fun to read. Excited to start using #Godot 4.6! Here's the blog if you haven't read it yet ;) godotengine.org/releases/4.6/
Small, free act you can do to bring some good in this world: add positive reviews to ALL you Steam games, especially the small indies. You don't need to write anything smart, just "game good" is enough. Every positive steam review tips the algorithm and helps your fav artists get more sales
Do you need 130+ animations that are really easy to use and retarget in Godot, Unity and Unreal?
The Universal Animation Library 2 is out right now!

A quote from the article "The Unique Concerns of Lifetime Game Projects" by Tanya X. Short: Most game developers aren’t in the business of lifetime game projects. But in case you are one of those few, or just curious about the constraints, I thought I’d share a few lessons and observations Kitfox has encountered from our work with Dwarf Fortress, and to a lesser extent, Caves of Qud and Streets of Fortuna.
Want to dedicate a lifetime to making a single game? Read this article by @tanyaxshort.bsky.social first!

In the span of weeks, I've gone from someone who has never used Godot, to struggling to "get" Godot, to really liking Godot, to having taught aspiring gamedevs the basics of Godot, to strongly believing Godot's workflow & structure might be the best approach to developing games for many purposes.
We're not subtle with all our sassy skeeting about it, but it's probably time for a persistent, official statement about our stance on AI.
TL;DR: we know what we're talking about. GenAI is harming creatives. There will be no AI features in Yarn Spinner. yarnspinner.dev/blog/why-we-...
Hard to believe it's already been over 2 years since I switched from Unity to #GodotEngine.
Haven't looked back!! Open source ecosystem brings peace of mind and it's been a joy to watch the engine already evolve in such a short time.

It's my birthday today! ✨🕯️ I would be very grateful for shares of my art as a little gift while I'm waiting for the cake to be done 🔥🎂
Some of my recent Steam Deck all-stars:
Megabonk, Haste, Brotato, Ballionaire, Sea of Stars, Word Play, Hades 2, Mars First Logistics, Merge Maestro, Metaphor: ReFantazio
It definitely is! And it's great in Godot for sure, works well with the node system, tool scripts in the editor etc. in my experience.
In case you're interested, I did a talk on proc gen in Godot at least year's GodotCon:

It would be great if there'd be an app that would generate all capsule images of Steam, Itch.io, EGS, GOG, Microsoft Store, Game Jolt, Google Play, App Store and Unity Asset Store in a single click... 👀
(subtle foreshadowing, announcement soon)
Not sure if you've tried these already, but this reddit thread has a couple of suggestions you can try to get RenderDoc working with Steam on Linux: www.reddit.com/r/linux_gami...
Hope it works out!
This paper is the OG. The turning point in non-realtime 3D rendering.
"Distributed Ray Tracing" is a bit of misnomer, because it's all applicable to scanline rendering as well.
