Different parts of my mathematical world coming together in one place and a real sense that FE & Lifelong Learning now have a home and an amplified voice within something bigger.

Great article by @tomrocksmaths.bsky.social. Getting to the top levels in maths is possible for all groups and backgrounds, but it is currently harder for some people than others. Hence why equity in maths education at all prior attainment levels is so important @meimaths.bsky.social

GCSE Maths distributions by board and age (16 and 17+). AQA’s entry has a larger proprtion of resits than Pearson. OCR and Eduqas don’t report age data so are lumped together, but Eduqas’ grade distribution suggests most of their entry is 17+. OCR tend to have a larger F entry.
