Nailed it! Grimdark and realism

Modified Space Marine Captain from the Combat Patrol collection. I put a skull instead of the helmet so that it would look like the dead Terminator from the 3rd and 4th edition of Space Hulk. I built a throne with white cardboard and he's resting on it.

Looks like it's totally doable!

Humandoids who are geased do their bidding and interact with local banks. Then something happens which upsets the balance...

Idea for an element of a ttrpg game I have not gotten the chance to use. Dragon war devastated the surface. They all declare peace and territories and now fight is economic and they sit on their hoards and are essentially central banks. No direct dragon vs dragon is allowed. Humanoids are unaware.

I have no idea what this is but I like it.

You should read the Noon Universe series. The Soviets had their version of Star Trek where the prime directive is to spread communism across the universe. Early is optimistic that communism will solve all societies ills. Authors over time grow disillusioned and it becomes a critique 'Hard to be God'
