It is known for its 50ft high English Oak Hammer Beam roof. In my photo you can also see part of one of the two massive fireplaces. The room is 133ft long. It is full of art works and wonderful stained glass windows.

The north west corner tower ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle built right above the sea cliffs below. Dunstanburgh Castle is a 14th-century fortification on the coast of Northumberland in northern England, between the villages of Craster and Embleton. The castle was built by Thomas, 2nd Earl of Lancaster between 1313 and 1322, taking advantage of the site's natural defences and the existing earthworks of an Iron Age fort.
