Alister (his true name is Alistor) is a demon of illusions and revenge. In the real world, witches are burned because the king made a deal with Lucifer, who ordered all existing witches to be burned. Fearing for Scarlett’s life, Alister created a separate small world so that the hands of the Inquisition could not reach her. This world has a house, many servants, its own garden, and a territory surrounded by forest. In this world, time is frozen for Scarlett, so she remains the same age she was when she entered it. Scarlett can leave this world, but only by changing her appearance, and then time starts moving again. The art depicts Alister’s illusory world, because he loves her madly.
