The NOVEL is starting to breathe by itself. The connective tissue of 40ish years of unrealised, publisher-worthy ideas that needed enough percolation time to find their voices and points of view is starting to cohere into a living, breathing organism. I'm starting to see its shapes.

It was a sausagefest at Punjabi Shaan last night, but it was quiet up front of house. The food is too good to lose. It'll be our third really worth-the-wait curryrestaurants that we might lose. I need to get more people eating there.

I wonder if I should design my comics to be rendered on rock tablets in bas relief, teaching post-apocalyptic men to Do Better... and teaching the rest of humanity how to handle bullies using martial arts, cattle prods, nose-rings, and the kamasutra (for good little boy-cows only).

When I think of how much trouble humanity has made for itself in the patriarchal age, and of all the propaganda-as-folklore we've reworked ad nauseum to make it look good, and of how little we truly know--as a society--of our long prehistoric ages, it makes me think about my non-existent audience.

As a tool, it needs a LOT more refining.
As a cottage industry, it needs to be deactivated, disassembled, and studied by scientists who aren't owned by billionaire bullies and/or mired in bad faith postulation-for-pay.
