C++ is my new passion.
That’s some rookie numbers, you start getting better at 150,000 hours
It even has different floors?!!
Happy New Year to every Game dev, new or veteran, that keeps pushing at making art and great games!

Simply lovely
I've been working really hard on this for the last few weeks and finally have something to show. Ui and effect changes, lots of game juice and style text. 👀🫀 #GodotEngine #Godot #IndieDev #Staked
Love it. 10/10
To insanity
The support of Unity on Linux is a joke, fuck it, going full Godot.

Is this supposed to be absurd? I love it so much, it’s absurdly brilliant.
First day learning Unity, I knew it was going to be fun but not painfully fun.

My real objective is to learn to make a small game and keep it simple.
If I feel confident and sane I could work more in those mechanics and learn more about advanced programming and Ul Interface but for know my objective is simple learn to animate, modelling and basic beginner programming
What about managing black market and having influence in the government?
It could start as a simple vendor of the cartel and in the mid game having your own production and money to pay politics which could make you create laws that benefits you, pay the police and also judges.
This things won't happen but:
What about the competitive?
I think can be fun in a managing way to start buying other estanco and the first to have a monopoly in the country wins, this could be display ass a menu in a monitor, like buying properties, a map with real Spanish estanco location
My first simple objective as learning curve project is:
-Be able to earn money and have costumers. That's it.
What could be fun? And won't happen
-Manage a black market where you can sell illegal products.
-Co-op/Competitive mode
-Earn influence in the government
-Buy all Spanish estanco
I've been thinking about what should be my first ever project and for now I'm inclining to do a real small type of game like "supermarket simulator" but you are the owner of a small Spanish Estanco.
I know is repetitive style of game and can get boring real fast so how do I make it fun?

Low key but thanks for reply this thread and also the algorithm to find it. It’s inspiring to see what all the solo devs are doing.
Need help deciding where to begin, I do not have experience with programming, level design, modelling, animation… etc.
What game engine I should start using for a small 3D project to start learning? Unity, Godot or UE?
