It’s almost certainly just a marketing ploy to get more money for very little effort. Get people to spend money on two films for the price of one.

So they are rereleasing Avengers Endgame in the cinema some time this year with some new footage to connect it to Doomsday.

Feels a bit George Lucas Special Edition, but it will be interesting to see what changes they make. Not sure I want to go to the cinema again if it’s just a minute or two.

I’ve always enjoyed the various different uses of Section 31 from DS9, Into Darkness and Discovery (not so much the film) but 50% of what made Section 31 so interesting was purely down to William Sadler.
