The Council of Europe has warned that the UK gov’s treatment of trans people may breach human rights law.

This must be a wake up call.

We’ve seen an increase in hostility towards trans in recent years.

Everyone deserves dignity, safety, & respect - that includes trans people.

And of course, in a big part of my Lib Dem career thus far, I spoke on, and helped pass @youngliberalsuk.bsky.social & @liberalreform.bsky.social motion challenging the implementation of the OSA, and I will come to push the party on overhauling legislation to truly protect digital rights…
