I'm a white Midwesterner, so I would say any number of the things we call "salad" like Watergate and Snickers and other things with Cool Whip and fruit, but no vegetables. I mean, I love them, but I get why they are not global favorites.

Love this one for multiple reasons.
This is so interesting. Even if you’re not familiar with Chicago, it’s fascinating to hear what makes a good and bad bus route from the driver’s perspective. #mobilities

I couldn't watch the landing any more than I could watch the launch.

This. Yes, American could do a better job of making it clear the first leg of the trip is ground transport. But I wish we had this option at CMI. So many of our flights get cancelled or seriously delayed by weather that doesn't affect a bus.
NO KINGS. NO DUKE.
Woo-hoo, Final Four, let's go!!!! 🧡💙

Update: the normal half-hour flight from CMI to ORD instead has passed over 6 different states.

As overdone as this intro is to MLB on Netflix, I do appreciate that they used taxis and cable cars as the iconic representations of NYC and SF. 😊

note the scope: over the road buses, tickets for general public, scheduled most of year, between urbanized areas (arguable but trying to exclude like transbay etc). also, practically, should have a reasonably working website to scrape.

One of the highlights of #AAG2026 has been reading Automatic Noodle by @annaleen.bsky.social while riding BART to and from the conference. The perfect San Francisco story for these times.
It might be a little out of date now, but I think parts of it could still work!

“Most” pax, at least in the article, seem to be entirely male. I think a lot of solo women travelers would hate the idea of their name being displayed for everyone to see and try and chat them up with.
