Margaret Thatcher died #OTD 2013. @ucddublin.bsky.social history graduate, Patrick Cosgrave acted as a Special Advisor to Thatcher from 1975 and 1979. A collection of his papers is available for consultation by appointment in our reading room.

Three photographs (P150/2969) taken during de Valera’s visit to Liverpool most probably during his Anti-Partition tours of Great Britain in 1948 and 1949. They comprise prints ‘Anti Partition Parade in Liverpool’, ‘Crowd at Liverpool Partition Meeting listening to Mr. de Valera’ and ‘Mr. de Valera addressing Liverpool Mayor’.
