I’ve seen a lot of concern about the lack of POC and Gen Z at the protests yesterday - that it was mostly white older people. I see it as those with priveledge showing up for those who can’t. Young people are having a hard enough time becoming adults in a society stacked against them. 1/2
The lack of mainstream media attention doesn’t change a thing: Americans showed up, and that’s all that matters. Hopefully the media catches up with us soon. #NationalDayOfProtest
