A grand exit! Ribbon wands are a reusable, eco-friendly alternative to bubbles, rice, confetti, or rose petals. ✨

A Christmastime fairytale wedding in New York City. I can't get over how these two look at each other ❤️

Venue Accessibility Project Part 2: Crescent Beach Club, Bayville, NY. Getting ready area, ceremony space, and cocktail/reception are all accessible by elevator. They have planks so wheelchair users can get to the beachside ceremony. 10/10. #boli #nycweddings

Finally!
I love seeing other wedding vendors getting on Bluesky! #weddings #brides #weddingplanner
Wedding pro here! NY based but your venue is stunning!
#disability #disabledbrides what has been your experience touring venues?

Venue Accessability Project Part 1: The Royalton Mansion, Roslyn, NY.
No random stairs on the main floor, accessible outdoor area, chair lift on the staircase to 2nd floor. So I’d call it fully accessible for average guests, partially accessible for VIPs. #accessibleweddings #nycbride #longisland
Thank you Virginia for your kind words! #nycweddings #weddingcoordinator
Working on a project where I tour Long Island and NYC venues and evaluate accessibility. If you had a great or not so great experience at a local venue DM me! I’ll be posting my results here #disabledbrides #nycweddings #bridesoflongisland #disability
Do you mind sharing where you got married? :) would be great to know!
A venue is not accessible if every major space isn’t accessible or if the lift/elevator is far from the action and not decorated to the standards of the rest of the space (looking at you, service elevators full of cleaning supplies) #accessibleweddings #disability #disabledbrides
thank you! I'm really excited and hope to get something going. A lot of wedding venues say they're "accessible" but then only have a chair lift to another floor and don't address all of the mini flights of stairs everywhere (or have a dinky service elevator hidden away)
I started a facebook group called "Wedding Planning with Disabilities" I want to create a resource for our community. If you're a spouse-to-be, are married, or are into wedding/event planning, join us! #disability #disabledbrides #nycweddings #accessibleweddings

Two ornately decorated bread loaves on a round table with a red and white patterned traditional Ukrainian cloth. One bread loaf is decorated with wheat stalks and the other with swans and roses. All decor is made of bread
Ukrainian wedding bread: a traditional bread that must be made by seven happily married women together, untouched by unmarried women, divorced people, and men. 💙💛

You’re very welcome!
That’s my baby boy!
And your awesome wife? 🥹
Thank you so much for sharing my post! I look forward to following your work as well as a disability strategist in media. (I went to film school, so that honestly sounds like a dream job)
A bright, modern wedding venue with white chairs and floral arrangements. Overlay text reads 'Accessibility & Weddings: Small Changes. Big Impact' with the handle '@ETEVENTS' and an arrow icon at the bottom right.
Text on a light beige background: 'Have Accessible Transport Options.' Below, it reads: 'Even if you don’t expect guests using wheelchairs, consider a wheelchair-accessible bus or Merc sprinters with low steps and wide aisles. Standard coach buses can feel like mountains for those with mobility challenges, temporary injuries, or even high heels and formalwear!
Text on a light beige background: 'Provide Ceremony Transcripts.' Below, it reads: 'A ceremony transcript can help a hard-of-hearing guest fully experience your beautiful ceremony—preferential seating or sound amplification isn’t always enough.
Text on a light beige background: 'Create a Quiet Space.' Below, it reads: 'Create a calm room with a door that closes. This space is invaluable for families with young kids, breastfeeding moms, or guests with sensory needs who may need a moment to recharge.
Accessibility is central to my philosophy and my work in weddings. 💕It's essential (and it’s caring and classy). Check out my top low-cost tips to create a celebration where everyone feels welcome 💍✨ #NYCWeddingCoordinator #InclusiveWeddingPlanning #DisabledBrides
Amenity I’ve seen get the best response at a wedding? EARPLUGS!
Have some in the bathroom baskets and you’ll get way less complaints about loud music.
