This is a really great article about something I've been going through a lot lately (Hanson and Gaiman among others). There seems to be a massive trend of creators turning out to be utterly terrible people.
🏺 Last month, I stepped down from my role as Research Officer for the Enabled Archaeology Foundation after three years of volunteering. My last act as a committee member was to contribute to a new guide for disability inclusion for BAJR, which you can now view online!

Well done to all the @uofglasgow.bsky.social archaeology students and staff for all their input today for the #Glencoe and #Achnacon open day. Sound scapes, poems, artefact displays, stories, hands on, and digging. @n-t-s.bsky.social @eddiecstewart.bsky.social @lizzierobertson.bsky.social
Amazing field school group and grateful to have been part of it!
@archscot.bsky.social @uofgartshums.bsky.social @nts-archaeology.bsky.social collaborate to bring this project together. Our team comprises staff from these institutions as well as students from @uofglasgow.bsky.social and volunteers from the local area and further afield.

What an incredible experience at the Glencoe Field School team from Glasgow.
Sensory walks, soundscapes, squelchy bogs, & troweling.
So grateful -also- to have been included in Open Day creative installation. Such a wonderful team to be a part of.

I need your support to keep BISH going. I need 2000 (two thousand) people to join the Patreon at £1 a month. That would pay me to work on BISH for two days a week. I need a pay rise, can you help?

In Fife, @mafs-scot.bsky.social are excavating the 12th-century Lindores Abbey, which has a long tradition of distilling 🥃
Visit the site from 21 June to 4 July or head to their Open Day on 3 July for site tours and a showcase of the finds: www.digitscotland.com/events/monas...

🚨 Sunday 15th is the LAST DAY of the June dig in Govan Old's 1,500-year-old graveyard!
⛏️ See the University of Glasgow Archaeology excavations between c. 11am-4pm for a FREE tour of the early medieval trenches; it's the perfect complement to our Viking-Age carved stones inside our A-listed church.
What a great visit at the end of the first week of @mafs-scot.bsky.social at Lindores Abbey.
And so it begins! Four weeks with students & the amazing monastic archaeology field school team @alisonibeach.bsky.social
@bh-archaeology.bsky.social & Derek Hall.
Come see us at Lindores Abbey!

“Nearly half of neurodivergent people are more likely to rely on public transport to travel for healthcare appointments compared to their neurotypical peers, with disruptions to transport services potentially creating adverse health outcomes for ND people.”

I feel seen. 😬
Yellow hard hats lined up on a blue tarp on green grass.
We are back! It's our prep week and we are doing all sorts of organising, washing up, and getting ready to welcome our new cohort of field school students next week.
Happy, shiny hard hats are ready! @lindoresabbey.bsky.social

This is... So much worse than I could have dreamed?
Prospect or Unison I believe. Depends on the organisation (eg HES tend to be Prospect).

I love it and made me feel seen and heard as an autistic person - it is beautiful.
