A caustic novel. I snagged it from the library a couple of days ago and devoured it. Left a bad taste in my mouth, though. It's one of those books where the author mercilessly beats up all the characters. #booksky

Here it is, my annual reminder: don't spray spring dandelions with roundup. One flower can be visited by 100+ bees in a day, and your chemicals will kill all of them. 🌻
If you have that attitude in California you'll be constantly in a state of rage, because there are many many Teslas everywhere you go.
Just got it from the library on your recommendation
My kids absolutely loved them and speak with nostalgia about watching the movie when they were young.
That looks like an Aristocat!
Wishing you a fast return to full health.
What country is NL?
Looks so lively

Your spice rack probably needs alphabetizing
I'm suspicious of the "nasty to staff" claims. It seems like that gets attached to every woman who shows signs of getting out in front.
Jane Bolin
On this day in 1908, Jane Bolin was born. Bolin, America’s first black woman judge, said this about women’s rights in 1958: “Those gains we have made were never graciously and generously granted. We have to fight every inch of the way — in the face of sometimes insufferable humiliations.” #WeTheMen
You made her eyes too big. They should be narrow slits of falsehood.
Best of luck!

Or cooking together, discussing a defined topic that everyone has thought about (such as a book everyone has read or movie everyone has seen), going on a trip together. But a formless interaction like a cocktail party is a nightmare for me.
I guess I would be called neurotypical, but I'm pretty introverted and I feel exactly the same way you do about social interactions. My favorite way to be with other people is to do something together with them, especially working in a group where each person has a different role.
Is there a reason why you didn't mention the title of the book and give a brief description of it?
I'm overwhelmed by the thought of cutting up and sorting all those little pieces. 😐
Beautiful color combinations in those stars!

#quiltsky, what do you do with your quilting fabric scraps? I'm drowning in scraps (many of them good sized) and wish I had a quick and easy way to process them after moving to a new sewing room. Looking for suggestions so they don't just get thrown away. Giving them away is certainly an option.

Looking back through my photos for pics of spring-themed quilts and found this rag quilt I made back in 2016, before I even started my current quilting blog. I love these light, springy colors.

I just wish the people who still think they will gain from his remaining in power would wake up.
Totally agree! Our refrigerator is much too deep and we have a hard time finding things because of it. Same for our pantry cabinet. Much too deep.
She knows how to come up with a good hook!
If there's a hell, he's going to it.
Lovely!
before I can even think of making a quilt. I turned around, went out of the room, and closed the door. Thinking that I need a professional organizer to help me bring order from the chaos.
#quiltsky.
I went back into my sewing room today after a two-year-plus hiatus that happened while I moved and finished work on a novel. I thought I would start working on a quilt a friend asked me to make for her king-size bed. But the confusion in the room made me realize I have a lot of organizing to do
