Hell, Arc Raiders has STILL not updated the Expedition page in-game to reflect the changes to the process for the expedition that is coming up in like a week. If you don't check their blog, subreddit, or discord server you'd never know, there has been no in-game communication.

This is not limited to MMOs, either. There's a number of games I've played in recent years where it was necessary to rely on external resources to find quest items, track event times, or similar things that should be explained in game or be present somewhere in the UI of the actual game itself.

I hate Al and I refuse to use it Peter, if you don't use Al a bunch of super rich men will lose a lot of money I already said I hated Al Harry, you don't need to sell it to me
commission real artists.
do real artwork.
if you have hands but you can't draw, write something from the heart.
don't resort to a generative program to do everything for you, you lazy cheap motherfuckers.
Look, for my money the absolute game changer technologies right now are batteries and biosciences, not statistically modeling a mid conversation, but you do you.
I don't think we need any more media that seeks to examine the question "What if Superman was a narcissist/sadist/complete asshole?". We know the answer. We are literally watching the reality of "What if all the most powerful people on Earth were fucking terrible and also couldn't be reined in?"
My phone's news algorithm has taken my repeated googling of the basketball playoff schedule for the past two weeks as an indication that I want push notifications with basketball scores. Unfortunately, I was only googling to see if my Florence and the Machine concert was going to be rescheduled.
The fact that Mamdani just seems like a cheerful normal guy who's policies are things like "we're going to tax second homes to fund pothole repairs" or whatever and yet this generates panicked responses like "This is basically Stalin's great purge turned up to eleven" is... telling. It tells things.
I cannot believe I just saw someone call Neil Newbon "Temu Matt Mercer" on God's green internet.
That looks so good
I think we should all start blogs again. Or online journals, even. That was a nice time. Just writing a few paragraphs about your day (don't forget to list the sad song you're listening to!) and maybe your friends will leave a comment. Then you go and read theirs and comment. It was fun.

Original seascape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Lighting the Dark" 20"x20" oil on linen (2025). This moody, abstract-leaning seascape painting has a textured, orange-toned, atmospheric sky with textured colors of light on the horizon. Light from the sky reflects in the water below as it meets a dark, rocky, tree-lined coast.
Original seascape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Finding a Kindred Spirit" 30"x30" oil on cradled Ampersand Gessobord (2025). A seascape painting with a gray-blue sky with textured, atmospheric cloud formations over a dark blue sea. Waves are meeting a rocky shore, and there is textured green moss and dark red algae or seaweed on the rocks.
Original seascape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Wavering" oil on Ampersand Gessobord, 8"x8" (2026). This loosely painted seascape painting is monochromatic (black & white). It has a textured sky over a dark, wild sea. The sea on the right is meeting a rocky shore on the left. There is much texture throughout the painting.
Original landscape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Homeland No. 2601" oil on Ampersand Gessobord, 6"x6" (2026). A peaceful atmospheric landscape painting of a lush green gentle slope with a loosely painted tree at the right, underneath a soothing light blue sky with textured breezy white cloud formations.
Hi #PortfolioDay!
I'm an artist north of Boston using oil paints to tell stories about light and atmosphere.
I paint both large and small, and my originals are available on my website.
I'm open for commissions, please email me if you're interested. Thanks!

I was told there would be a process document.
A large tomcat with a white face, paws, and belly, and grey tabby markings from the top of his head down his back lounges on a grey deck box. He looks like he is kind of an asshole.
The same cat in a humane trap. He looks almost cute and much less asshole-ish.
This is Bob. Bob has evaded my TNVR efforts for over a year. He is the last "regular" community cat who has not been fixed. This morning, we're on line at the clinic for his surgery appointment. He has been a remarkably good boy the entire time - has not made a single peep.

The "blue hour" takes place when the sun is far enough below the horizon that the sun's blue wavelenghts dominate, at dawn or dusk. The blue hour lasts longer near the poles as the sun rises and sets at a shallower angle than at the equator.

I have one rolling pin, it's one of those novelty ones that rolls out designs in cookies, and it's somewhere in my basement because yea... I barely have enough kitchen storage for my normal pots. 🤣
So have we come up with an Instagram alternative yet?
Today in American healthcare: had my annual physical, doc reviewed prescriptions on file to renew. Asked about my EpiPen, I admitted I haven't been filling it because of how expensive it is. She suggested using GoodRx, and looked it up in front of me, shocked to see even there the generic is $300.
Basically every IKEA instruction manual: Don't build this alone, get a second person, and use hand tools, not power tools.
Me, my hubris, and my electric screwdriver:
All of this together in one bag is absolutely diabolical. I'm already mad because the furniture piece is divided into 3 boxes but the pieces you need for Step 1 are not in the box labeled #1. 🤣
IKEA, we've gotta talk, what the fuck is this? 🤣🤣🤣
