Are there any self-contained Markdown slide apps like deckset but work on Windows? Slidev looks interesting but seems like it's more of a "repo is a self-contained slide deck" and not a "use this app to open arbitrary Markdown slide decks."

Happy to announce that Claude Code can now write my papers for me and I can focus on my core competence: spending hours fiddling with latex until tables fit on a page

Video is what got me into podcasts, back in 2007!

I would download video episodes from Diggnation, @leolaporte.me, Tekzilla, @cnet.com, and sync them to my iPod for my bus ride to work.

Now, 20 years later, Apple is relaunching video in their podcasts app, and @transistor.fm is an initial partner!

The #JsonPath @symfony component just got an upgrade!

Per the RFC, it is now possible to declare custom functions to be parsed and used in your JSON paths.

The component is now complete: RFC-compliant, extendable... Maybe you have ideas for it?

Has anyone tried Asahi on the Macbook Neo? While I've got a M1 Pro MBP, I wouldn't mind a good Linux laptop. If the Neo is good, it might save me some cash from getting a Framework...

Just made the repos public 🤷 … the project is mainly for my own personal use, but feel free to test it, use it or share it.

Watching an episode of Ask Hank Anything, and they came so very close to saying this:

"Cannibalism. Not a hill I would dine on."

WezTerm - Wez's Terminal Emulator Wez's Terminal Emulator

Happy WezTerm user. wezterm.org

I can't remember why I switched from iTerm2 initially. Combination of performance (GPU rendering) and easier configurability via dotfiles / nix-darwin?

I'm also happy that it works on Windows, too, now that I have to work on a Windows workstation for the day job. :)

Each time I work on a new OG image for an article, I'm reminded the devlog series flow from one to the next.

Utterly pointless, but makes me happy.

Likely. Recognizing the "bottleneck" or "cap" is a good first start, but firing them is maybe not the best solution. Protecting them and focusing them is an arguably better first step, especially if there of there is no ill intent at play by said programmer.

@tjmiller.bsky.social Not sure what you are planning to charge for Iris, so not sure it's in my budget these days, but I am definitely interested in seeing it see the light of day! I feel you on the anxiety and second guessing yourself. If you need more encouragement: just do it!

Yeah, that's fair and good to know going on. :) I'd be up to pair sometime.

recommend one that will work, I might go with the builtin dictation soon and test it
