Gopher client / HTTP Proxy update! This is probably as far as I'm gonna take this for now.
If people care, I might add search support or try to do some ports to native desktop clients, but we'll see.

Been thinking about the smol internet more and more. It’s been refreshing using #gopherprotocol and #geminiprotocol. Fast loading, text based and ad-free. I think I’m gonna host my #audiomo this year on phlog (gopher blog). I will provide some waypoints (web / fediverse / bsky posts) on how to
I've rearranged some stuff. My #Gopher hole, formerly at geryon.n8fq.org, is now at gopher://gopher.n8fq.org
The gopher://purplejillybeans.gopher alias on OpenNIC still works.

Some progress this weekend from my new Gopher client. Might do a Gnome port at some point.
Not a fan of the design inside the main frame yet, so most of my creative effort will go there next

Netscape Navigator 2.0 for Windows 3.1 displaying the home page of my retro web server. A blue stripe below the toolbar and a gold key icon in the lower-left corner indicate that SSL encryption is active.

One of my ongoing #RetroComputing projects is maintaining a vintage #RetroWeb / #GopherProtocol server based on OpenBSD 3.0.

Went up to visit my friend @JessiBeanTheFlaptorQueen today. I used to make the trip almost every month but so far I've only gone twice this year. They were worn out after a long and busy day so we didn't end up doing much but I still had a good time. I introduced them to #GopherProtocol and […]
I decided to rename my #RetroWeb / #GopherProtocol server from lucifer.n8fq.org to geryon.n8fq.org, in keeping with my emerging theme of naming computers after Nethack characters.
Here's something incredibly useless: a tool to convert your public #SNAC timeline into a #GopherProtocol tree.

It's not very pretty at the moment but it *does* work. You can see it in action here:
