I’ve updated my convention schedule for this year with some new dates and new events! I’ll be tabling this weekend at FandomCon Silicon Valley, in San Jose!

Clear for takeoff—I’m excited to announce What Ended the Golden Age of Airships? The Hindenburg Disaster, A Who HQ Graphic Novel.
Follow cabin boy Werner Franz serving passengers on the last flight of the legendary airship. I can’t stress how much life @ruemxu.bsky.social brought to the page.
I cannot wait to see “Sac State’s Own Ryan Coogler: Oscar Winner” on the local news tomorrow, lol.
Hah, I’ll definitely have to use that one!
Illustration of Sailor Moon in a blue overall with one strap down, she’s wearing a pink short sleeve top with white bunny, silhouettes, and a pattern on it. She’s sitting on the ground cross leg with black platform shoes. She also has a Tamagotchi in the shape of a heart with wings clipped to her pocket.
Today in class a kid asked me about my Miku sticker on my folder, and I was very confused (as I do not have anything Miku-related).
Then I flipped over the folder and realized they were asking about Sailor
Moon. 💀
…Anyway, Happy belated 34th birthday to my favorite 90s girl!

The cover for A Lady For All Seasons. A photograph of a redheaded woman in a blue dress is facing away from the viewer. The title and author name are illustrated as if on the front of a poetry chapbook. Text reads: The sequel to national bestseller A Gentleman's Gentleman. Out Now.
🌸 She has arrived 🌸
A LADY FOR ALL SEASONS, the Regency romp starring a cunning society lady who is looking for a fake marriage but instead falls for a genderfluid poetess, is out now.

A pile of stickers; “fuck ice” with roses and sparkles, “fujoing out” against a green heart and flowers, a blonde with a pink/orange gradient underneath her hair, and a black woman with yellow sparkles in her Afro
Working on some new stickers ✨

I’m at ECCC! Please come by and say hi!
"Artists peak at 30", "30 under 30", "by 30 you should" ridiculous. Arts industries capital craves young people to exploit and burn out. It doesn't want older artists thriving and guiding the young. It also doesn't want artists to exist. Stop letting cannibals tell you you only matter on a plate.
We'd all be happier if we lived somewhere walkable (The Deep Space Nine space station)
Thank you!!
Thank you! Every once in a while I open up my word doc and add a few more sentences about them
A colored sketch of a smiling Klingon in a blue Starfleet uniform, holding a Vulcan’s hand while he passes a dermal regenerator of it, healing the cut on the Vulcan’s hand. The Vulcan is in a yellow Starfleet uniform, looking down at his hand in the Klingon’s, blushing slightly.
An illustration of a smiling Klingon in a blue Starfleet uniform, back to back with a Vulcan in a yellow Starfleet uniform.

Every few years I redraw my Star Trek OCs, a Klingon Starfleet Medical Officer and his Vulcan Starfleet Engineer boyfriend, a couple I made in 2015 when hoping we’d some day get a new Star Trek show.
On a completely unrelated note, I finally caught up on Starfleet Academy and Jay-Den is my favorite
Thank you! Yeah it’s so weird thinking “ugh I had a whole week off and did nothing!”
Meanwhile my immune system was putting in copious amounts of work
Much better than last week, thank you!
And a day off sounds like a great idea. Rest your brain m, your body, both, whatever works!
I cleaned one (1) section of my house, did one load of laundry, and started a tiny bit of my book edits, then I rewarded myself by finally watching Starfleet Academy and Pillion.
The thing about having a week off recovering from being sick is that you feel like you should have more to show for it but also you were busy…being sick.

Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads: The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same... - Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist
Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.
I’m taking solace in the fact that an entire stadium of people hate him as much as we do.
Heartwarming to learn that he was booed in front of the world. 🙂↕️
He should be followed by people jeering and throwing things at him for the rest of his life.
(I mean, I’m also always gonna root for Mexico for the same reason, but I will be knee-deep in meetings by the time they get to the “M”s)
On the other hand, it was very sweet hearing all the cheers for the Canadians. I’m always gonna root for my northern neighbors. 🥹
