Cancelled Netflix.
They dumped Mike Flanagan — genius behind Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Usher, Life of Chick, etc. (Net worth: $30M).
Kept Meghan Markle & “Prince” Harry — 60+ millionaires serving up whining docs, fake cooking, polo puff pieces & assorted turds.

Bravo. 👏

There are several versions of J1 visa. And I've seen it used in non-exchange situations as well, usually at universities.

That's not true. J1 visas are also given to students of a certain status.

Exactly. Totally unfamiliar with American immigration law, but they do have an opinion about it, accusing people falsely of things they never did. Musk is not a good person, but let's focus on what he does now and not what he didn't do back then.

Elon Musk is a horrible person, but let's not attribute to him what he never did. This reminds me of people unfamiliar with the B visa for Slovenians in the 1990s were accusing Melania Trump of doing. She's not a good person either, but let's focus on what she actually did do.

Says who? It is totally possible to go from J1 to O and then to H1B or even straight from J1 to H1B. It is not a violation of J1 to drop out of school, and business visas of the time that Elon Musk came to the US were very versatile. I know people who went into business like that totally legally.

That's not true. The way the H1B visa works is that it is sponsored by one employer. If you want to go to another employer, it is possible, but then the second employer applies again for your H1B visa. I've seen it happen lots and lots of times with my academic colleagues. It is totally legal.
