βPancreatic cancer mRNA vaccine shows lasting results in an early trial. Scientists caution that more research is needed, but nearly all of the patients who responded to the personalized vaccine are still alive six years later.β
This is why we should fund science. π§ͺ

Tonightβs shaping up to be a good migration night. BirdCast is forecasting in the 90million area, but I think itβll easily break 100 million tonight. Nice 30-40mph south winds forecasted up in the 2000-3000 ft elevation range is the perfect boost for birds.

How it feels doing literally any task right now.
I've now seen several posts from Democratic US Senators and House Reps calling for Congress to return to DC, and my only reaction to seeing these is: Do it. Just get on a plane and go back to DC. The House is in Recess, not adjourned. There was a pro forma session today. Go. Lead by example.
I watched the Billy Idol documentary on Hulu.
I have always been an Idol fan...and love him even more after watching. One of the best rock docs I've seen.

Reminds me of a post I saw some years ago from a tourist in a Welsh pub. A drunk patron there kept going on about "Ed" being the source of all of his problems.
Tourist asked the bartender if there was any danger for Ed, given how upset he was. Reply was, "He's talking about Edward 1 of England."

I started covering this last year, and I can't overstate how important this is: the Trump administration officially labeled some of the most commonly-used forms of birth control as 'abortion' jessica.substack.com/i/173447780/...
It takes SIXTEEN paragraphs for the New York Times to mention why the administration wanted to destroy nearly $10 million in contraception:
It's because they claim the stockpile of IUDs, birth control pills, and hormonal implants are βabortifacient birth control.β
