Having more avenues to post as a dev is really beneficial for traction. Having more places to potentially distribute a game is HUGE! Especially since each place has its own reputation, its own culture and seem to develop their own cult following that are vastly different from the last.

I had that happen to me and I just took a brush with sturdy, well spaced bristles and brushed it out gently. It worked wonders. You do have to be careful not to pull out the fibers.

Does anyone know if there are still alternatives to itch.io for game developers rather than JUST gamers? Alternatives OTHER than Gamejolt, I've got some old beef over there and don't like what it's become. I've found newgrounds, and it seems ok.

I used to use Excel to make my Maze designs but I found this cute little app called pixilart that I can easily rough out Maze ideas on my phone with. I decided to let my teammate design the challenges for this section. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.

A conceptual illustration of a massive gothic church. Hues of blue greys are used to separate the different sections of the building based on depth of field. The creator Raezor has placed watermarks in their name across the image.

I've never been the best at drawing architecture. I was digging through some old art for inspiration and to see what useful bits I left behind. I found this massive church I designed a few years ago. I think this is my fav method.

Day 2 of slapping together asset sketches to make sure my 2D assets will work together.

Multiple sketches overlayed to create a scene of a bucket hanging from a brick well that is covered with ivy. A roll of rope is off to the left side. The creator, Raezor, has a watermark with their name over the work.

This is a Mashup of asset sketches to see how well the 2D assets will work together. Part of 1 of many 2D asset packs that will later be free in asset marketplaces.

After many years, I've decided to get back into game art and development. When I was younger, I was turned away from the colleges I wished to attend because I was a woman, being told, "Women study graphic design, not games." This is an asset for a 2D hidden object adventure game that I am working on
