What metric will they use to see if it is 'effective' - particularly for adults? The entire notion really confuses me.
I was particularly alarmed at the end, i.e. 'The NHS is continuing to examine the evidence for masculinising and feminising hormones in adults, the Guardian understands.'
Maybe it was poorly worded, but it sounds like...'we might try to find an argument to discontinue hormones in trans adults.'
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, but my husband and I managed to sign the contract to sell our flat. 😱 Hopefully we'll exchange contracts soon so we can complete within the next two weeks. One step closer to moving to Canada! 🇨🇦✈️

This insistence on using 'biology' or 'biological' is bollocks. They are referring to gender assigned at birth, but they want to use 'biology' to harass trans people. Biology and sex is more complicated and nuanced. Over simplifying science doesn't make it true, it just demonstrates their ignorance.

If they believe in what they are doing, then why do they not just come out and say it? Have some dignity and self-respect, OWN it. Don't blame other people and deny what is being caught on video over and over again.

When I saw the video of Ross calling Good a 'Fucking bitch' after murdering her, it reminded me of the times men have called me a 'fucking bitch' for various things. For being difficult. For being opinionated. For being unfriendly.
He shot her out of anger. He shot her to put a woman in her place.
This protester is an absolute legend. Well spoken, clear, put his points across in a calm way. This view of America gives me hope that things can change, but it is going to be a long road ahead.

I scheduled my 1st appointment for therapy (starting in January) and received a job offer in Canada. My husband and I are moving in Spring 2026.
Lots of disappointment in 2025. But the new job is a good opportunity and Canada seems more open to trans ppl and their families than the UK. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🇨🇦
