Transphobia is a cancer of the heart and mind.

It is a useless fear, based on ignorance and cruelty.

Trans people are not responsible for a single one of the problems we face.

Do the world a favor and grow the fuck up.

AOC: I want everybody to understand that the cuts to your health care are what’s paying for this. You get screwed over to pay a bunch of thugs in the street that are shooting mothers in the face.

In early 2025, beaver activity in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area, Czech Republic, contributed to the restoration of a wetland ecosystem. I’m torn between understanding Melinoë has been fed propaganda her whole life, so of course her character may be incapable of action, and realising that a better story for the people of the world right now is Not Melinoë’s story.

6 months ago 2 0 1 0

As a player, I was taking note of the those mistreated and misunderstood by the narrative/Gods, but the game wasn’t allowing us (Melinoë) to acknowledge or DO anything about it. In fact, Melinoë as a character likely wouldn’t and doesn’t sympathise with those like Prometheus.

Reading this article and your thoughts, Court, made me realise how much I was letting the gameplay carry the whole game for me and that I had just been accepting the story wasn’t…doing anything, actually.

It lists statistics: 85% of respondents reported uncertainty about the future; 71% reported federal training programs were "very" or "extremely important"; 83% reported negative impacts or irreparable harm on their field of science. There is a word cloud summarizing open-ended responses with the largest words "student research fund federal grant". Eight major themes in the responses are listed: disruption of research with societal important; concerns of closure of the USGS Bird Banding Lab; Early Career Bottleneck; Restricted Freedoms including travel and speech; Decline in Government Efficiency and Expertise; Concerns about Biased/Removed Data and Data Gaps; Concerns about the Ability to Meet Legal Mandates; and From Positive Impact to Irreparable Harm. There are icons for each participating society and a QR code for website and data availability.

An edit of the end card of the first episode of Cowboy Bebop, which originally shows a spaceship far away in space with the word “SEE YOU SPACE COWBOY…”. In this edit, the text instead reads “GOODBYE JINGOSTAR…” in reference to a scene in Warrior Cats: The Power of Three: Sunrise.

Just listened to Episode 322 and I felt compelled by Tangletongue’s plea for this edit. @wcwitcast.bsky.social 🫡 may Starclan light Jingostar’s path

I apologize but I find the theology of the Warrior Cats books more compelling than any monotheistic religion.

A lunch I had in Rhode Island. Falafel with pita and pickled vegetables. On the side is a dish of baklava, which was quite honestly the best baklava I have ever had in my life.

About 3 dozen LAPD officers in full riot gear, standing around looking confused, bored, aimless. A waste of taxpayer money, a threatening show of force without morality or purpose. Behind them, the north wall of the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, covered with Barbara Kruger's "Untitled (Questions)" mural: against a field of stark red, white letters that read, in part, WHO IS BEYOND THE LAW? WHO IS BOUGHT AND SOLD? WHO DOES THE TIME? WHO SALUTES LONGEST? WHO DIES FIRST? WHO LAUGHS LAST

"Why do you always say 'coffee made by a they/them' all the time?"

Because, Jerry, the last two coffees I had that were NOT made by a they/them were: the most bitter flavorless thing imaginable, and a cup of warm milk that put me to sleep.
I NEED that they/them-ness in my cup, Jerry.
