I tried an edible and all I did was snack for a good hour or two straight. Ate an entire bag of chips lol

A male Pileated Woodpecker fluffs up his head feathers while checking out trees for food in the marsh.
A Great Blue Heron takes flight. It's wings are concave as it is lifting into flight.
I saw a nice Great Blue Heron yesterday. I kept clicking as he departed and got a shot where the wings are perfectly concave. Fun, fun click to get!

Big fat red-breasted thrush with yellow beak is standing in snow on a thick, horizontal tree limb. Bird is facing forward and looking up and to its right.
There was a large influx of American Robins this week. So many Robins! Flocks and flocks of Robins! It sounded so nice

Asked my neighbour to teach me as he driven them for years (has 2 manual vehicles) and I took to it like a duck to water. I've literally been thinking about it daily since.
I'm fucked 😭 The more time passes, the less popular they become, too
I'm an adult who is going to get a HIGH PAYING JOB so I can get myself a fancy, powerful car with A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
Tiki the green cheek conure dangling off the cuff of Brushfeather's rainbow-patchwork sleeve. You can see the blurred image of a screen with a hat on it in the background and an equally colorful desktop.
Tiki being a marvelously helpful coworker this morning, as always.

A gryphon with the features of an American Woodcock bird. It has a long sharp beak, small ears, and mostly brown plumage with darker markings.

The Peent Gryphon will always have a special place in my heart
Does that include biting the case?

I couldn't get too close, but the color of the male mountain bluebird was stunning against the backdrop of the still-brown field. 🪶

Two black chicken-like birds with white beaks and red eyes and yellow-green lobed feet as standing in the snow looking uncomfortable. Each one is holding up a foot.

Three black chicken-like birds with white beaks and red eyes and yellow-green lobed feet are standing in the snow. One in the background is pecking at something in the snow and the two in the foreground are walking gingerly across the white ground.
American Coots have started arriving and… good thing those giant, lobed feet are also pretty decent snowshoes 😂

SO PRETTY
A photo of a pied ash-red feral pigeon with heavily feathered legs and feet. She is mostly white with specks of brown, except for her wings which are about half brown. She is stood outside on a metal railing in front of a window, in the sunlight
Today's Marshmallow. She's around a lot, but hard to get a photo of. She was a bit too friendly as a fledgling, but became warier as an adult, thankfully

Front view of a male zebra finch on a perch, preening his wing feathers. His neck is twisted around and extended and his wing is raised. The resulting shape is comical in appearance.

Finch necks work in mysterious ways…
A more fleshed out iteration of this wyrm-like creature of lights, shapes, and colors in thin but vibrant outlines. It snakes through the air against a gray stoney landscape with leafless shrubs, trees or bramble in the background.
This dream creature has been on my mind ever since. I think this is as much as I'll flesh it out, the details are starting to fade.
One wants to have a good time and the other wants to take you out of existence
Oh my god they both know how cute they are
Domino had a big bath and then flew straight over to me dripping wet 🥲

The driver side rear of the iM. There's a parody of the Sunoco gas logo in the gas door that says "seedoco: birb fuels" with a feather running diagonal through it in place of the store. At the very top of the panel is a lady bug.
Keep forgetting to take a picture of the differences on the driver side. Luckybug, and I couldn't resist a parody. 😁
A red Corolla iM with gold decals. There's a flying Wren pointing towards the tip of the hood and some ornate feather-like details at the front center and front edges.
A red Corolla iM, passenger side view. There are stylized gold 'floating: feathers with dot tails on the front door, around both front and back door handles, and two above each wheel well. The Brushfeather logographic can be seen behind the last window on the upper back panel.
A red Corolla iM, back view. There's gold decals of a wren facing forward, wings spread wide, feet tucked against its chest. Branches reach out from the left and right side of the hatch door. There are ornate feather details on the bottom edge of the hatch. By the license plate towards the top, 'ovo' is decaled on the left and 'henlo' on the right in small, casual font. On the left of the back window there are 5 bird tracks climbing upwards. On the right bottom, it says "brushfeather(.art)"

Hmm.. I've got nothin'. Wanna see my car? I designed/installed the decals and use it almost every day, that counts I think.

A dark grey and brown songbird perches on a backyard wooden gate. The bird is small, with a dirtied pink bill and is looking inquisitive.
Man, it’s Junco City in the backyard – with them scuttling every which way in the (sigh) latest snowfall. I counted 21 at one point. My own backyard 21-junco salute. #birds
