(1/) The #UnfreeMAL is over, and was so successful! On the knit pattern side, 48 people bought the pattern for a total of $317 in sales. I had planned to donate the proceeds, about $270, but decided to make my own contribution adding back in the money lost to transaction fees.

My favorite short hook Tunisian tip is to use a foam stitch stopper at the end of the hook. Stays put better than a hair elastic, and it looks tidier.

Tunisian crochet can mimic knitting and a lot of what you can knit can be done in Tunisian too. Just following a knit pattern but with Tunisian stitches will probably turn out way different though.
It's a fun quest I find myself on often when designing Tunisian.

First rows on my shawl for the #UnfreeMAL by @stitch-theory.bsky.social made. I mostly avoid cables in my projects, but these are so gorgeous to the eye I couldn't resist. Tip from an #InclusiveYarnCommunity member was to use stitch markers for cables and they are making cables fun. 🧶💜 #knitsky

I'm so happy to read you're planning on making Creatief Kerchief. hook without an ergonomic handle works too. Wrap an elastic around the end so the stitches can't slide off. The scarf isn't that wide so it can fit all stitches.
