Some really fascinating insights in this latest release from the CSO about urban and rural lives. The categorisation of different areas is very well done - and very crucial to understanding it

The Crown was a psyop to humanise the Royal Family by having charismatic actors play them.
Could not watch it for exactly this reason
It's easy to succumb to outrage fatigue. But this was four days ago. 2,000 killed. 1.2 million displaced. Entire villages demolished. A 40km 'buffer zone' (10% of Lebanon's territory) annexed. It's barely raised a resigned shrug, but it meets the criteria for war crime. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Phew 👏
Y'all are gonna lose your minds when you hear about horses.
It’s brilliant and she’d be excellent in it I think, Fontine was good practice
I’m listening to Yesteryear on audio book and it is quite something. Sharp sharp sharp

This is a genuinely mindblowing combination. 1) Deliberately false information, 2) promoted in schools, 3) using public money, 4) in the service of private profits, 5) at the cost of our collapsing ecosystem.
🤣🤣🤣 this is why Cork people don’t welcome the motorway idea. Hordes of climate refugees from Limerick
Nope, having lived in both, Limerick rain doesn’t come near Galway rain. Frank McCourt would’ve had it way worse further up the west!!! West Kerry I am unable to comment on but I will say ALL the fuss about Cork is justified on the simple basis of less rain
