I did some work on it already. I decided to only processes photos that had a high probability of being a face, otherwise it could end up full of inappropriate stuff. So probably no swans in the college but no body parts either.

I dream of a utopian running co-operative where we work together to support each other and make decisions democratically. But I realise that things are never that simple.

But where I live, running punks feels more like a memory.

The question is, what should I do now? Should I just get over it, accept that within groups of people that people's feelings get hurt in and jump back in?

When I do post my runs or about running I have stopped using the runningpunks hashtag.

I know there are still some running punks groups the meet in person, Cardiff, Bristol and Brighton (I think). If I lived anywhere near any of them, I'm sure I would attend.

But since watching Jimmy's video last year where he talked about the toll on his metal health caused by others in the community, I have felt torn.

For me, running punks no longer feels the same. Nowadays and I rarely post about running or interact with other runners online.

Yes, running punks was never just Jimmy, it was/is all of us.

I, like many others, discovered running punks in lock down and the community meant a great deal to me.

For the first time ever, I felt like I was part of something connected to running.

I was considering decommissioning @iampunkbot.bsky.social, but after checking the feed, I see quite a few people still post the #runningpunks hashtag. So I will leave it up.

Surely this would be a subsidy. Yes, they can't control the cost price but they could control the supermarket sell price with subsidies somehow. Governments subsidies solar panels, heat pumps, EVs and more and they normally benefit the wealthy.

A subsidy that benefits the worst off don't seem bad.
