Sensible and pragmatic move by the UK government. Electricity and gas prices should probably never have been linked anyway. Shows that behind all the media's hot air the govt is actually getting on and doing good things.

The narrative of the original article in The Guardian that prompted my blog is certainly interesting, especially in the light of the forthcoming (9 April) publication of Flood Waters Down which is available for pre-order now at bookshops and online.

'I was one of the 500,000 who marched in London - it's clear Brits have hope' Protesters carrying placards saying "No to racism, no to Trump", and "Refugees welcome" marched through the capital to Whitehall amid a heavy police presence, with officers lining the streets

Incredible turnout in London today for the march against the far right.
