While we’re at it…..a year ago the trump admin tried to erase Jackie Robinson’s military accomplishments.
The Dodgers response was to go to the white house where kershaw enthusiastically presented trump a jersey.

Goodnight to the great Mary Beth Hurt, who has passed away at the age of 79. ❤️ Celebrated here in one of her many unforgettable performances as Laura in Joan Micklin Silver's CHILLY SCENES OF WINTER (1979).

Reposting this because I revamped my site and the link changed. Added the script for Wake Up Dead Man to my site. This is the final shooting script, it has stuff that was cut and moved around, which I think is more interesting than a conformed cleaned up version. Enjoy! rian-johnson.com/scripts

Per current discourse on #wizards and #wizard fiction: Seems a good time to menttion that if you're looking for other-series options, you can pick up the first nine #YoungWizards novels as #ebooks in a bundle. (Unless you're in the UK: we can't sell to you due to Brexit...sorry.) bit.ly/YWNMESET
146 workers died in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire on this day in 1911. The bosses responsible were never held accountable for the awful working conditions that sparked the blaze. Remember this today as politicians and their corporate backers attack workplace safety.

Newspaper ad for STEAMBATH which bills it as "They found God in a steambath. God is a Puerto Rican steambath attendant. The patrons of the bath don't believe it. Until they discover they're dead and in Limbo. Then no one rests in peace. They plead with God for life. Humorously. Desperately. Valerie Perrine was one of a kind. As hilarious as she was drop dead gorgeous. Many will remember her as Miss Teschmacher from the Superman films, but here's four other great performances to celebrate the amazing talent she was. HIGHLY recommend tracking down STEAMBATH on DVD. RIP Ms. Perrine.
