That's wild. But also, are you ok?
My favorite number is 1/7.
Decimal expansion is 0.142857142857.. which is cool because it's so long. But there are lots of other cool things.
Movie poster for Counted Out, a documentary by Vicki Abeles. The image shows a diverse group of people behind a transparent vail of 1s and 0s. A "not equal to" symbol is prominent in the center of the poster. Text: A film by Vicki Abeles Counted Out Math is power.
The new documentary Counted Out explores how math impacts everything from the economy to politics. Hill-Murray is hosting a free screening on March 25. All are welcome and I'd love for as many people to see it as we can get! www.eventbrite.com/e/1141141507... #CountedOut
I think this is exactly right. It can also be an excuse not to try. Like "let's try this new way of thinking about it!" "Oh sorry, my brain doesn't work like that."
So sorry to hear this, David. Hoping the best for you and your daughter.
Any #DesmosCL experts on here? I'm trying to round a value within a table. Specifically: I've got a table with 3 columns. I want Col3 = Col1 / Col2. This is no problem. But often the decimals are unwieldy. I'd like to round the result of the division but I can't figure out how. #Desmos
I really, really wish we could type LaTeX anywhere and have it render properly
This is amazing. My favorite is "➰uare" (but my ➰ is upside down)
