On equinox days it rises/sets due east/west at all latitudes (except at the poles where it doesn’t rise or set at all).

On other days, the higher your latitude, the farther away from due east/west it rises/sets.

I’ve made this little #Desmos thing to plot the daily sun paths according to ⬇️

I put together an inverse square law #desmos sim. It includes two intensity probe points for seeing ratios, as well as adjustable collectors/receivers for looking at area and power.

#EduSky If you like geometrical optics, you might also like this simulation of refraction through a spherical lens I made in #Desmos. The adjustable ray is parallel to the optical axis. You can also change the sphere's radius.

Been tinkering with this little #desmos thing, a way of showing velocities of points on a rolling wheel with a selectable reference frame velocity to see how that changes things. (This could also pass for rolling with some slipping.) #ITeachPhysics
