Suspect Guilty GIF Alt: Man in hot dog costume pretends he didn’t just crash his hot dog car into a shop, saying “We’re all trying to find the guy who did this.” GIF

As someone who went to school in Moscow, ID, I can tell you this: It is absolutely batshit that Doug Wilson has been allowed any influence or proximity to power in this country. Republicans can always be relied upon to uplift predators and those who protect them.

If there is one thing I’ve learned is that if a project is struggling, adding a bunch of new trainees always helps, especially if they’re being paid and you’re not, and they’re the reason you’re not being paid

Every time a woman runs for president I hear that she’s too emotional and unstable to make wartime decisions, unlike the men in charge who make really reasonable decisions like bombing kids to death, starting water wars, and poisoning the entire planet

NEW: A page from Bondi's burn book. This is a list of the searches by Rep Jayapal of the unredacted Epstein files. That means the DOJ grabbed her search terms from the computers they set up for members of congress to view the Epstein files to use as ammunition. The photo is from Reuters.

My dog died just under two weeks ago and today I’ve spent six hours at the emergency vet with my other dog. So 2026 sucks.

Technically it’s an infusion. Fly extract is typically made by soaking 1,000 flies in alcohol over a longer period of time and is far stronger than your average fly milk. Common mistake.

Even in Elon Musk’s denial of his involvement with Epstein—which directly contradicts the available evidence—the world’s richest man is still claiming he knew all about “pedo island” and didn’t do anything to stop it. Even in their fantasies of innocence they’re still directly enabling child abuse

Same people laughing at Trump for getting nothing in Greenland but the deal that's already in place saying this is a good deal for Dems lol

This isn't about "training issues." The murderer who executed Renee Good has been with ICE for 10 years, and according to DHS, the murderer who executed Alex Pretti has been there for 8 years.

These aren't "new recruits," or officers that can be "retrained." ICE can't be reformed. Abolish ICE.

Literally EVERYTHING else aside:

Officers involved in shootings - even shootings that everybody agrees were justified - always take time off to emotionally process their experience, go to therapy, process it.

Sending somebody right back out says "this is an everyday part of your job, expect it."

Someone in Congress needs to be demanding that man draw a clock in front of them right now.

Having now finished Paradise I have to ask why nobody told me about this show. I thought it was a political thriller from the ads and was woefully misled. Had I known it was a post-apocalyptic/disaster show I’d have watched much sooner. Amazing performances from Sterling K. Brown and James Marsden.

I’m a couple of episodes into Paradise and I have to say the most unrealistic thing about this show is the idea that billionaires care about the survival of humanity.

This is exactly what I told someone yesterday.

Even if I spot you the first shot (I shouldn’t, but let’s go with that), shots 2 and 3 were inexcusable and this officer will lose his case if it ever goes to court.

Had a friend from college stay with me for a week while she looked at houses in my area. It was a week of absolute childhood sleepover vibes and was a balm for my soul.

Guys it finally happened. Three times this week my husband has needed a specific cable for a project and all three times he was able to find it in the millennial cable hoard we’ve built up in a box over the past 20 years. I’ve never felt so vindicated.

Front of schoolhouse Polly Pocket that I turned into a Baba Yaga hut. It stands on resin printed chicken legs. The siding is painted brown with a red roof and door. I covered it in patches of moss and leaves. I made a small dead tree with a tiny skeleton hanging from the branch next to the front door. It also has a large eye with a yellow iris on the front that I used to cover up a raised design on the schoolhouse.

The inside of the hut showing a kitchen area with hanging herbs, another eye where the clock was. I’ve turned the blackboard into a bookshelf and the computer into a cauldron with a skull next to it, and added some bottles and other witchy details.

More of the inside where I’ve turned the gymnasium arena into an altar featuring a skull and some candles. I added some books, a pentagram and a bloody sword. I also added a tiny bloody handprint near the altar.

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a #ThingThursday so here’s what I’ve been working on. I took a broken Polly Pocket and turned it into a Polly Yaga Hut! It was a really fun project. Special thanks to my husband for letting me use his miniature paints and for resin printing the legs for me.

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

Noori Ali
Do you recall Noori Ali(?), the ten year. old Yemeni girl who got herself divorced? I met her at the Glamour awards last year. There was a CNN story last few days about how unhappy she is, still living at home, not attending school and quite angry that her life is not better. Is there any way we can help her? Could we get her to the US for counselling and education?

Meanwhile, here's an example of the horrendous things found in Hillary Clinton's emails—the only story worth covering for any serious news outlet in 2016, apparently.

This email is also regarding a child who suffered abuse from a grown man.

I am so tired of watching Democrats punch themselves in the dick and then frame it to us as some kind of win.

When people talk about the excesses of MeToo, they have to lie, because the reality is that there was no massive social reckoning forcing people to believe survivors or hold perpetrators accountable. In fact, there has been a significant backsliding and new punishments in rejection of MeToo

People seriously loved those aspects of her personality but as soon as the public and media felt like she was over-exposed any positive feelings toward her public persona got memory-holed. I always liked Jennifer Lawrence and I think it’s a shame she now feels like this about herself.
