#GuineaPigDeathSquad4Life I certainly wasnโ€™t the primary instigator of our silver medal - I only knew the answers to questions about Assistive Technology and The Beatles, as I recallโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Tโ€™was your good self who knew the atomic number of goldโ€ฆ!

[5/5] Variability in childrenโ€™s performance on both presentations underlines the risk of assuming fixation or gaze switching skills to be present, and the importance of assessing gaze behaviours in individual children - particularly those expected to use them for communication or computer control.

1 year ago 0 0 0 0

[4/5] Eye tracking may be better at recording fixations in children with strabismus, where object-based paradigms may offer more flexible administration for clinicians.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

[3/5] Eye tracking may present an โ€œentry barrierโ€ for some children in terms of its accuracy and calibration requirements, but object presentation carries with it the risk of over-interpreting children as having fixated.

1 year ago 0 0 1 0

[2/5] Our study compared the use of an eye tracking computer with expert clinician observations of children's fixation and gaze switching. Whilst it is not possible to say which one is better at producing the "correct" result, the differences are interesting and are discussed in this paper.

Fun Fact! Contrary to popular belief, unicorns contain only trace amounts of sawdust. In fact, one would have to consume over 6,000 unicorns to ingest the Recommended Daily Sawdust Quota (RDSQ) for the average adult!

Joseph M. Butter, of course, did go on to occupy high political office as a result of his military exploits. A fact still commemorated on supermarket shelves to this dayโ€ฆ

I don't know who would be crazy enough to buy such an obvious piece of walking, talking, sandwich-making spyware... but I do admire the chutzpah of the "Research" page on their website, which I wish I could get away with...

Six Nations 2025 predictions: our writers on who will win and why Franceโ€™s Louis Bielle-Biarre may be widely tipped for the tournamentโ€™s scene stealer but there are plenty of other themes to light up this yearโ€™s edition

Thoroughly dispiriting - 4/5 @theguardian.com #rugby writers have #Wales finishing last in this year's #6Nations and it's pretty hard to offer a decent argument against this. Sad state. Pob lwc in Paris tonight lads, but it's going to take a hell of shift... ๐Ÿ‰
