Travelling home after a fantastic #BASconf25 in #Dundee where people living with aphasia, speech therapists, researchers and academics were all present and equal part of the conversations. We had talks, discussions and dancing!

A final day at #BASconf25 full of challenges people face in aphasia care as well as that all important reminder to include all significant others in aphasia rehab; from their child and partner to the bus driver and the barista. Home-time now with a brain full of thought provoking info to digest 🧠🗣️
Great to consider how we can integrate gesture work from the acute stage, with all aphasia severities & how targeting gesture can support other communication modalities #aphasia #SLT #mySLTday #BASConf25
