Note to Democrats: Stop punching left. The left is fighting mad and the words we use are "Fuck ICE" and "IMPEACH" and "SHUT IT ALL DOWN." Maybe you'd get somewhere if you used those words, too.

I did have to double my rice to achieve the "don't die" part... my nose and eyes were running, but I kept eating because it was so tasty.

(I was not at any point in danger of death, I'm just white.)

Finding Wild Food at the Grocery Store!
Finding Wild Food at the Grocery Store! YouTube video by BlackForager

We had Korean bellflower side dish tonight, and it was so good! And now, my backyard has no bellflower!!! (Don't worry, they'll be back.)

Here's the Black Forager video that made me realize it was possible:

See, this really is a case of size matters
Fart = mix of molecules, most incredibly small even for molecules
Virus = many molecules, all connected together, much bigger

Bluish-purple violets growing suspended above their broad, heart-shaped leaves. Also growing in a clump, with stems for leaves and flowers growing directly from the ground. Nearby chives are arching their narrow tube-leaves into the picture. The ground is covered with wood chips and plant litter. There are a few weed leaves in the clump, specifically bellflower and grass.

Original Plant tulips in small clumps. They have white flowers with purple centers. Leaves and flower stems grow directly from the ground. Thin, narrow leaves arch away from the base, getting narrower towards the tip, which ends in a point. The ground is covered with various plant litter, with a little thyme visible.

This magazine has been keeping me up to date with the field for over 30 years, and I learned SO much from it as a young writer. The thoughtful, in-depth interviews alone are more than worth the price of subscription!

I saw this mushroom once in our woods and took its picture. I still can’t bolete it.

Things that help calm the nervous system, quickly:

- Box breathing (in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4, repeat)
- Immerse your face in cold water (activates mammalian dive reflex)
- Humming (stimulates vagus nerve)
- Exercise (anything helps, outside even better)
- Impeachment and removal

Eh? They might surprise you. Obvi maybe avoid the ones giving you suspicious looks. If you show you're friendly and love the area, maybe they'll be cool.
