Look, I need to warn guests if a mini mud-dwelling beastie is going to lick them on the way in!
New, less than a year
We don't smash bigs here, if we can help it
This is an honest request for information, tho silly
I have never seen this before why is it on the ceiling
Mud tubes stuck to a white ceiling and blue wall with more mud
What is it
What lives here
Will it sting or bite or lick people walking around nearby
Have you never thought how danger must surround power as shadow does light?
The biggest and easy way to reject Trump is an empty room
PM press has some lovely re-stickable camera covers
Note to Democrats: Stop punching left. The left is fighting mad and the words we use are "Fuck ICE" and "IMPEACH" and "SHUT IT ALL DOWN." Maybe you'd get somewhere if you used those words, too.
Child: I know your name. Mamdani.
Obama: What’s his first name?
Child: Mayor.
I did have to double my rice to achieve the "don't die" part... my nose and eyes were running, but I kept eating because it was so tasty.
(I was not at any point in danger of death, I'm just white.)
If they're touching, then the mold is probably threaded through all of the bread, unfortunately
We had Korean bellflower side dish tonight, and it was so good! And now, my backyard has no bellflower!!! (Don't worry, they'll be back.)
Here's the Black Forager video that made me realize it was possible:

I stand by this! And I'll be facilitating two workshops on May 16 to help adults talk with small people about incarceration.
1:00 to 2:30 pm - a convo with formerly incarcerated caregivers [link below]
3 to 4:30 pm - A conversation with caregivers in general: www.bklynlibrary.org/calendar/tal...
If you could have seen me vibrating when I learned who the guests of honor will be!!!
HI I'M ONE OF THE GUESTS OF HONOUR
TELL THEM YOU'RE EXCITED TO HAVE A HUGE GIANT TERRIBLE INSECT AS A GOH
Or I guess you could talk about panels and stuff since they're asking about panels
Anyway I hope lots of people attend! It is ALL VIRTUAL!
That's not it
See, this really is a case of size matters
Fart = mix of molecules, most incredibly small even for molecules
Virus = many molecules, all connected together, much bigger
Daffodils with a peachy cup surrounded by white petals like a saucer. They're growing in a clump with leaves and flower stems coming directly from the ground. Leaves are long and skinny with rounded tips. Surrounding dirt is covered in leaves.
Bluish-purple violets growing suspended above their broad, heart-shaped leaves. Also growing in a clump, with stems for leaves and flowers growing directly from the ground. Nearby chives are arching their narrow tube-leaves into the picture. The ground is covered with wood chips and plant litter. There are a few weed leaves in the clump, specifically bellflower and grass.
Original Plant tulips in small clumps. They have white flowers with purple centers. Leaves and flower stems grow directly from the ground. Thin, narrow leaves arch away from the base, getting narrower towards the tip, which ends in a point. The ground is covered with various plant litter, with a little thyme visible.

Daffodil, common violet, and wild-type tulip.

This magazine has been keeping me up to date with the field for over 30 years, and I learned SO much from it as a young writer. The thoughtful, in-depth interviews alone are more than worth the price of subscription!
Oh, mood. It's so hard to remove or cut back something while its blooming
A capped mushroom with part of its stem curved up *very* phallicly.
I saw this mushroom once in our woods and took its picture. I still can’t bolete it.

Underside of an ocean outcropping at low tide. Orange and purple sea stars, green anenomes, razor clams, barnacles and other sealife clings to the rock.

Things that help calm the nervous system, quickly:
- Box breathing (in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4, repeat)
- Immerse your face in cold water (activates mammalian dive reflex)
- Humming (stimulates vagus nerve)
- Exercise (anything helps, outside even better)
- Impeachment and removal
Tall, yellow daffodils planted in with very short, blue scilla. The background has various brown plant litter being used as mulch.
Things are terrible, but hopefully slightly less terrible. Here's my latest tol/smol pairing
Eh? They might surprise you. Obvi maybe avoid the ones giving you suspicious looks. If you show you're friendly and love the area, maybe they'll be cool.
