Hey so did you know that there are 2 species of Estemmenosuchus finally our mod has both for my birthday. the interesting thing is the more famous species mirabilis is quite small at around 2 meters while uralensis is 3.1 meters.

Like many kids of my generation, this WWM segment (and Primeval) triggered a long-lasting obsession with gorgonopsians. Their presentation as dynamic, exciting animals reframed the way I imagined the time before dinosaurs. It was game changing!

Introducing a new Remodel to the fossil mod: Mymoorapelta, this small ankylosaur is from the Jurassic Morrison formation. and received a recent paper by Jim Kirkland which was useful in reconstructing this skeleton.

Despite being ill I think this first formation #paleostream of the year turned out pretty good.
The Upper Elliot Formation from the early Jurassic of South Africa is an important piece for our understanding of sauropod evolution but beyond that it's just a really cool assemblage...
