It's dawning on me like six months later how funny it is that they announced "we're doing a Danganronpa remake where a slight change at the start butterfly effects into a whole new chain of culprits and victims" and they didn't pick the one with the chapter 1 culprit that pissed off everyone

My first draft of this post started with "I know Cohost had issues in management and community, and I know poeple are tired about hearing about it, but despite all these things maybe it was actually good" and then I stopped and looked at my hands. Man what the fuck can't I just say I liked a place?
Cohost was good. It was a website where I actually saw communities pop up in the positive sense and where for the most part everyone on it was there because they wanted to be. A lot better than "Twitter, with all the nightmares that implies, just without a literal white supremacist running it"!

more random writing advice: yes writing fanfiction helps you write better and it shouldn't be looked down on. HOWEVER I think making your own original stuff helps *more* because ***you*** have to figure out how everything works. Fic is great for honing specific things because there's a base already

Brains are so funny man. I was walking down the street and suddenly remembered a mistranslation I made of a Danganronpa V3 OST track name nine years ago and went "man, that's an embarrassing mistake." Brother the embarrassing thing here is definitely not the translation mistake
