I did some of that type of work with systems like PACE! Evolution much more than structure for me, I never did enough physics. Does your science bleed into your writing?

I think of it as STEM dark academia… imagine how medicine and science might have evolved differently if there was healing magic, but it required training and was heritable and super rare. (It’s a thinly-veiled commentary on class & privatized medicine!)

I’m a molecular biologist! Actually almost 100% out of the lab now (I have minions), working on neurodegenerative disease & genome editing. Love it but it can sap my energy for writing! You?
